Repair Workflow: Using Sticky Tack

Expand each stage for exact actions, timing, and stop signs.

1

Stage 1: Diagnose Where The Issue Is

Identify what pieces are loose for you to apply this tack. In this case Arkham Knight Ver 1.5 from Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi.

  • In this case this Arkham Knight has a loose hinge joint.
  • ⚠NOTE: Sticky tack works best when the pieces/parts are small, light, and/or a hinge joint. Reason for this is because sticky tack is not really sticky on all figure materials but excels in sockets or light parts.
2

Stage 2: Spit Some Tack On It

After isolating what piece(s) are loose the next thing to do is to tack it.

  • As mentioned sticky tack works best for sockets, small, and light pieces. In this case this Arkham Knight's issue is on a socket.
  • Use a small amount of tack (add/remove more if needed), place it within the socket.
3

Stage 3: Check and Clean Up

Now that there is enough tack within the socket where it does not fully push out the peg. Now it's time to check if it worked.

  • Since this issue is on the hinge the next thing to do is bend the hinge to ensure there is enough tack for the space within the socket allows for more friction.

Done!

And that's it!
